O . E . F . L :. I've been practicing my english since 2 days ago cause i'm taking an Institutional TOEFL on monday. aarrrgghh...it's so hard listening to all those british accents T____T americans are sooo much easier to understand. another weakness of mine is structure and written expression. it seems that all choices are true -____- looks like i have to study more T____T *sobs* i have a TOEFL simulation software. so i took a test to measure my ability. and actually my score wasn't that bad ^^;; i scored 223 (computer based), so it's about 563 if you compare it to a paper based test. i just hope that when i take my real test, my score will be around that score and i won't get nervous *amiiin* if any of you guys have taken a TOEFL before, kindly share your expreriences here please ^^ Ψ naochan posted this at 03:25 PM Ψ ![]() March 15, 2005 *bounce with happiness* Yayyyy....do you remeber my previous posting about me taking an institutional TOEFL? i took it yesterday and guess what.....i scored 593 point ^o^/ *yayyy* i'm soooo happy. i was all nervous and such. and i could feel my hand was shaking when i answered the questions ^^;; thank god i made it :D i was really helped by this book called Longman Preparation Course for the TOEFL Test: Skills and Strategies. my cousin lent me that book. i studied that book 3 days before the test. turn out that it really helped me. i got so many strategies to handle every section. for example: for section 1 part A, you should focus on the 2nd person's sentence. the question is usually derived from it. for part B & C, you should guess the question by looking at the answers while listening to the conversation. i really recommend that book if you're planning to take a TOEFL. mood: thirsty Ψ naochan posted this at 02:45 PM Ψ ![]() March 23, 2005 new layout Hehehe...i got bored. so i decided to make a new layout. it came up when i started to make a to do list. it turned out that this layout had my first attention :D i got the image from a photography site. i forgot the name. i'll find out later ^^;; so, how was it?

Lately, i've been visiting QB Bookstore at Plaza Semanggi frequently. I love being there, surrounded by thousands of book, even place to sit to read them ^^ definitely, my favorite place is a book store :D i can stay hours there just by browsing and reading those books. sadly, don't have enough money to buy it cause mostly they're imported books T__T why do they have to be so damn expensive =___= i have a dream to open a bookstore someday. a bookstore with a reasonable price and not too pricey so all people can afford it *dreamy eyes* so, back to reality, i've been reading a series of japanese comic named The Wall Flowers. it's an interesting book. hillarious yet also weird ^^;; but don't you worry, there's a bunch of bishounen to pamper your tired eyes ;) it tells a story about a girl who lives with 4 attractive bishounens in a grand and luxurious house belong to the girl's auntie. they can live there free of charge if they can change that girl into a beautiful lady. the problem is, that girl is a weird kind of girl who likes horror movies, violence, and doesn't want to cut her bang which already covered half of her face. the book is still on going, now it has reached volume 2 at QB, dunno in Japan tho. so i dunno what will happen to all those occupants of that house ^^;; until volume 2, i read it for free :D if i were in Japan, i imagined myself being fanned by the shop owner for reading the entire books ^^;;
